STEVEN BRINBERG has performed a sold-out tour of Australia in Simply Barbra. The real Miss Streisand was also appearing at the time, and Steven was asked to review her show for the Sydney Morning Herald. He has also performed a series of concerts with Marvin Hamlisch (three times), Barbara Cook, and The Pittsburgh Symphony. Steven conceived Simply Barbra in 1993 at Don't Tell Mama in New York City, where the show continues to run when he is not touring. The ever-changing show has been seen in London's West End, The Edinburgh Festival, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Houston, Washington, D.C., New York City, and many other cities both in the United States and around the World! Steven's New York Stage credits include Ivanov (Jewish Rep), Lyrics and Lyricists (92nd St. Y), and two workshops of Ken Page's Musical Night Life (Manhattan Theatre Club/Westbeth Theatre Center). Films include Boys Life (now on video). On TV, Steven has performed on Sally Jesse Raphael, Rosie O'Donnell and (Gasp!) Jerry Springer! He also provided the voice of David Spade on MTV's Celebrity Death Match. The live album of Simply Barbra is currently available on TER. A second album, Simply Barbra Duets featuring over a dozen stars, will be released soon. Steven has won both the Bistro and MAC awards, and has six consecutive nominations.
